When the signal stops, the city remembers.

Disquiet is a portrait side-view pixel puzzle-platformer about listening to incompatible histories, surviving the Still, and choosing which account Bellwether preserves.

In development for iPhone and iPad. Mac is part of the canonical product plan.

01 / The Still

Silence changes matter.

The Still is not a filter. Paths, weight, distance, ownership, and causality can change while one anchor remains fixed.

The accepted record holds.

Architecture agrees with the city. Municipal devices work. Traversal is safer, and the excluded account stays below the stone.

02 / Encounter

Agency through attention.

Hollis is capable, not powerful. The game rewards reading a place before changing it.

A continuous pixel-art encounter route through Bellwether: Hollis and Palinode enter a rain-dark viaduct, inspect a relay, cross an impossible red stair, and reach a civic archive door.
01 / Enter Learn the accepted geometry. The route appears ordinary before Hollis hears what it excludes.

Pixel-art cutaway of Bellwether at night: civic buildings and water towers stand above flooded limestone caverns, joined by the red pulse of the Continuance mast.
03 / Bellwether

One city. Several true histories. No clean arithmetic.

Bellwether, Illinois, is a climate-repaired city built above drowned limestone caverns. The Continuance keeps its residents inside one shared reality. During the Still, suppressed histories gain sound, shape, weight—and sometimes a life of their own.

Hollis Ward

A municipal signal technician who hears the instability that the city calls silence.

P / Civic machine

Palinode

An obsolete service machine. Companion, witness, and never merely equipment.

E / Missing account

Etta Ward

Hollis's missing sister. Her absence cuts through every official version of the city.

Pixel-art municipal witness table with Hollis's reel recorder, Palinode's paper tape, evidence tags, relay hardware, a city map, and a pale moth.
