Keep the iPad
in your workflow.

Glassport brings the physical device into a Mac window. Open an iPad app, work with its contents, and bring the useful parts back to your desktop.

Work through a native window

Tap, swipe and scroll the live display with your pointer. Type with your Mac keyboard, open installed apps, or switch to a screen-only view and return with Escape.

Copy and paste both ways

Paste multiline text and Unicode into the iPad. Copy selected text back to your Mac. Paste keeps Return separate so you decide when to submit.

Move files and whole folders

Drop Mac files and folders into the Files table. Drag supported iPad Documents items back to Finder. Transfers preserve the sources and show progress and cancellation.

Keep the pieces you need

Save a capture when you choose. Collect copied passages in order, keep repeated excerpts, and export Markdown with source details. Local MCP tools can share the same native session.

Your Mac + your physical iPad

An existing pair.
A shared workspace.

Check the requirements
  1. Bring your existing pairing.Import the configuration for your iPad through the native file chooser. Glassport keeps it in its own private app storage.
  2. Connect over Tailscale.Your Mac and iPad need to be reachable on your existing network. Glassport authenticates the device before enabling control.
  3. Work from the live picture.Input pauses when the picture is stale. A temporary connection loss triggers bounded automatic recovery without replaying uncertain actions.
